Do you want to know about the cultures of other countries? If so, we welcome you to join ASIAN BEAT Online 2!
People who have roots in Asia will meet online for about a month and create a dance and video for our original song.
It is often said that Asian countries are “close but far,” but we will seek to close the distance between our hearts with face-to-face exchanges and through the creation of works. We are striving for a world where diverse people acknowledge each other’s differences, but first, why don’t we try to strengthen the connections between people living here in Asia?
During the program we will spend a lot of time communicating between people with various backgrounds. As unfamiliar languages fly around, we will enjoy interacting with new ways of thinking during the process of creating a single work together. Together we will overcome the barriers of language and distance with a smile. Then the feeling of accomplishment at the moment of completing our goal will be so fulfilling and irresistible!
Even though we will be dancing and singing, the most important things is to have fun. Experience or skill in singing and dancing is unnecessary. We welcome first time performers with open arms!
In order to recruit Cast members (participants) we will hold open information sessions! It is necessary to join at least one information session in order to apply for the program. Please join whichever one is most convenient for you!
“ASIAN BEAT Online 2” Participant Recruitment Guidelines
■Cast member Requirements
- Those who can empathize with the activity philosophy of Asian Beat
- Those who are 18 years of age or older (high school students aren’t eligible) as of the program start date (June 6, 2021)
- Those who can give top priority to the program schedule
- Those who participated in the Orientation of the ASIAN BEAT Online 2
- Those who have stable internet environment with a PC
- Those who can positively challenge new things
- Those who can communicate proactively (good English skill is not required)
※ You can participate without any past experience in ASIAN BEAT or COMMON BEAT.

The participants from Asia get together online and spend a month making a video production and original songs to deepen friendship among participants.
We are looking for participants from various countries such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and more!
