こんにちは、アジアンビートオンラインスタッフの島林由香（ゆかちん）です！
早いものでASIAN BEAT Onlineも3回目を終え、ひと段落した気持ちです。
今回は、3回目をする中で意識していたこと、そしてプログラムの内容などを紹介していきたいと思います。
It makes lots of Asian friends!
Hello, this is Yuka Shimabayashi, an Asian Beat Online staff member!
Wow! ASIAN BEAT Online has finished the third time, and I feel relieved.
This time, I would like to introduce what I was conscious of during the third session and
the contents of the program.
友だちになるにはどんなことをする？
What do you do to make friends?
「皆さんだったら、海外の人たちに出会った時、友だちになるために何をしますか？」
プログラム開始2か月前に集まった多国籍な5人のスタッフのメンバーと、魅力的で楽しいプログラムにするべく、ずっと考えてきたテーマでもあります。
その中で出てきたのは、
・チームで何か難しいことに挑戦する
・お互いのことを紹介し合う
・話す時間をたくさん作る（一対一で話す時間や、自分の経験を発表する時間など）
・歌とダンス！！
・飲み会ははずせない！
など。
ASIAN BEAT Online1、2のキャスト（参加者）を経験してきたスタッフたちの純粋な感覚を活かして、プログラムの内容を詰めていきました。
“What would you do to make friends when you meet people from abroad?”
It’s a theme we’ve been thinking about to make the program attractive and enjoyable
with the five multinational staff members who gathered two months before the program
started. What came out in that were:
・Challenge something difficult as a team
・ Introduce each other
・ Make a lot of time to talk (time to talk one-on-one, time to present your own
experience, etc.)
・ Sing and dance!!
・ Don’t miss the drinking party!
and so on.
Taking advantage of the fresh idea of the staff who have experienced the cast members
(participants) of ASIAN BEAT Online 1 and 2, we created the program.

チャレンジを続けた3週間
3 weeks of continuous challenge
短い期間の中で、毎週末に顔を合わせ3~4時間、話したり踊ったりゲームしたり、とても忙しく充実していました。日本、韓国、台湾、インドネシア、フィリピン、ベトナムから参加した30名との交流は、1分1秒が刺激的で、言語の壁が…とか、初対面で話すの恥ずかしい…などと心配する暇もなく、日に日に温かく打ち解けていく場となりました。
特に印象的だったのはこの２つ。
・ファミリーミッション
・１on１トーク
ファミリー（国も年齢も混ぜこぜの小グループ）で30分のショーを創り上げ、最終週に発表する、という3週間でやるにはかなりタフなファミリーミッションをやったのですが、これがも面白くサプライズがいっぱいでした！
各ファミリーがオリジナルを追求し、インドネシアの街を2人乗り自転車に乗って案内してくれたり、台湾料理をあたかも全員で同じ場所で作っているかのような演出を生み出したり（これは本当に凄かった！）、各国のお寺巡りができたり…。
多様なメンバーが集まれば集まるほど、想像も付かないような発想でクリエイトしてくので、かなりのコミュニケーションを取って創り上げていました。結果どのファミリーにも、「難を共に乗り越えた絆」がうまれていて、良かった！
そして、１on１トークは、強制的にランダムな2人組でブレイクアウトセッションに飛ばされ、5分間自由に話すという時間で、これが意外にも参加者同士のお互いの興味関心を知る機会になり、個々の繋がりを創る良いきっかけとなりました。
5分間は短かったようですが、このプログラムが終わっても繋がり続けてほしいという想いから、「もっとこの人と話してみたい！」という感覚を持つにはとても良いアクティビティでした。
In a short period of time, we were very busy and fulfilling, talking, dancing and playing
games every weekend for 3-4 hours. The interaction with 30 people from Japan, South
Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam was exciting at every moment,
and there was no time to worry about the language barrier … or the embarrassment of
talking for the first time. It became a place to warmly talk to each other day by day.
These two were particularly impressive:
・ Family Mission
・ One-on-One Talk
We accomplished a pretty tough family mission in 3 weeks, creating a 30-minute show
with a family (a small group of mixed countries and ages) and announcing it in the final
week, which was also interesting and full of surprises!
Each family pursued the original and guided us around the city of Indonesia on a two-
seater bicycle, creating a stage as if everyone was cooking Taiwanese food in the same
place (this was really amazing!), You could visit temples in each country … The more
diverse members got together, the more we created with ideas that we couldn’t imagine,
so we spent a significant time for communication. As a result, we are happy that every
family has a “bond that overcomes difficulties together!”
The one-on-one talk was arranged that a random duo was forcibly sent to each breakout
room to talk freely for 5 minutes, which was surprisingly an opportunity to know each
participant’s interests. It was a good opportunity to create a connection.
It seems that 5 minutes was short, but it was a good activity to have a feeling of “I want
to talk to this person more”, because they wanted to stay connected each other even
after this program was over.
このプログラムに参加してから、言語の学び合いが始まっていたり、自発的にお別れ会を企画しようという声が上がったりして、海外を身近に感じ、積極的に交流しようとする人が増えていきました。このような温かいプログラムをこれからも作っていきたいと思います。
After participating in this program, the number of people who felt closer to overseas and
actively interacted with each other has increased, as language learning has begun and voices
have been raised to voluntarily organize farewell parties. We would like to continue to create
such a warm program.
